The museum traces Scotland County’s history through exhibits of items such as early textile machinery, farming implements, model trains, and even a rocking chair used by President William Howard Taft. It stands adjacent to the John Blue House in southwest Laurinburg. Local Civil War artifacts are another major component in the museum.
